Wax Museum

After weeks of practice, the Marquis du Lafayette finally got to act in character at the Wax Museum.  It was probably 98 degrees in the cafeteria during this.  Henry was too excited to notice.

Hot Cross Buns

 

Henry learning to play the recorder.  His first song was Hot Cross Buns.  Despite his struggles to play the instrument, he's happy with himself.  Love that!

Ferry to Boston

Memorial Day, we took the ferry from Salem to Boston.  Went to the Paul Revere House, Pizzeria Regina, pastry shop in the north end, and Boston Common.  Henry loved the cannoli and the balloon man.

A rare nice afternoon during a very cold May, so Henry and I went to the town park (which Henry calls the Red Park).

Marquis de Lafayette

Henry has to research and then play the character of a famous Revolutionary War hero.  He chose the Marquis de Lafayette.

Old Friends!

We went out for Chinese in Salisbury and ran into Ben Buchmayr and his family.  Henry and Ben were best friends in pre-school when they were 3 and 4.  First time they've seen each other in several years!

Henry and I went up in a biplane ride for 20 min over Roanoke Island and Nags Head!
