Henry got to see Memere and Pepere for the first time in over a year.  He's become a card sharp and is an expert at the game Uno.  We spent a quiet week on the beach but made one trip to Wilmington.

Easter 2021

 You're never too old for an Easter basket.  Even 7th graders like chocolate bunnies!  [Note the hand sanitizer to remind us we're still in a pandemic]

Topsail Beach

Just moved in for a week at North Topsail Beach.  Henry is very excited to see palm trees.  This is the most northerly we've seen palmettos.

TEN Years of School Pictures

This is the TENTH year of Henry getting school pictures from pre-school through 7th grade.  Seventh grade has been all-virtual due to the coronavirus pandemic, so I took some shots myself to get a good one.  

Lake Lure Vacation

December 26-30 getaway to end 2020.  Beautiful Lake Lure NC.  Many photos are at the top of Chimney Rock.

Every year Henry has always made Christmas cookies with Merere.  This year due to the pandemic quarantine, we did them ourselves!

This one was staged.  I took this picture in the bike room at home.  At this point, mid-way through 7th grade, Henry and I had been home together due to Covid for a year.
