All The School Pictures 2011 - 2026 !

 

This is it.  All of the school pictures.  Fifteen years, from year 1 of pre-school to 12th grade.  He grew up awfully fast.  I've loved you Henry every single wonderful year.

We've done it!  Walking to the bus on the first day of school, Kindergarten through 12th Grade.  Thirteen different grades; six years in Massachusetts, seven years in North Carolina.  And we've already started writing Henry's college applications for next year.

First Day of 12th Grade

 

11 years ago, the day Henry started 1st grade, I wrote that the grades were all going to blur together, time would be shot out of a rocket and Henry would soon be starting 12th grade, getting ready to go to college.  That day is today.

Sedona Day 5 - Grand Canyon

 

All three of us have done that once-in-a-lifetime thing everyone has to do: see the Grand Canyon.  Mere words can't describe it.  

Sedona Day 4 - Devil's Bridge

 

We did some hiking today.  Got on the trail by 6:15am to beat the heat and the crowds.  We also went to the Church of the Holy Cross, a catholic church built into the side of West Twin Butte.

Sedona Day 3 - Flagstaff

 

The terrain changes so quickly here.  Flagstaff is only 57 miles north of Sedona, but it's at 7,000 ft of elevation and changes from Red Rocks to green alpine mountains.  But we also went to Meteor Crater.  It's a giant crater formed by a meteor hitting the earth.  That flat North Dakota-looking terrain just miles east of Flagstaff.

Sedona Day 2 - Pink Jeep Tour

 

We took the touristy, very expensive, but very fun Pink Jeep tour.  Three hours of bouncing up trails in the red rock mountains of Sedona

We flew to Phoenix, then drove a rental Jeep up to Sedona.  This is the sunset view from the pool of our rental!!

School Pictures 2024-2025

 

Henry didn't want to get his formal picture taken this year (well, it was one morning in Siler City when he was busy in class at CCCC), so I had to take a home picture just like in the pandemic year of 2020.
